After the Hurricane Irma hit the Dutch Caribbean in 2017 many islands’ infrastructure and buildings were damaged. Near the end of 2018 Koop signed a contract with the Public Entity of Saint Eustatius (Dutch Caribbean) to lay down three roads in Cherry Tree on the island. This project will be finished in the summer of 2019.
The works consisted of:
- Soil preparations and analysis
- Concrete study and design
- Flood and erosion protection study and design
- Construction of roads, pavements and drainage systems
