The construction of our major barrage dam in Iraq has been completed successfully at the end of the year 2019.
For us and our client, The Ministry of Water Resources of Iraq, this project has been one of the greatest project in the past decade. A decade in which Iraq has had its share of wars and turmoil, which also affected our company, we are proud to have finalized such a major strategic project that serves the country of Iraq and its inhabitants.
A short summary through the years:
2012: The project site begins its preparation and dewatering works
2015: The construction works are halfway done. Sadly, turmoil in the country delayed the completion
2017: Construction is back on track and phase 2 has been started
2019: The whole project is done and has been handed over to the client
